#21762 new defect

VirtualBox Manager running on remote X $DISPLAY

Reported by: beadon Owned by:
Component: VM control Version: VirtualBox-7.0.6
Keywords: Cc:
Guest type: all Host type: Linux

Description

When ssh-ing to another machine:

ssh -X beadon@host

This allows tunneling the X display over the SSH connection.

Then running:

VirtualBox

I properly see the VirtualBox manager. However, I also get a few errors on the terminal :

Qt WARNING: QSortFilterProxyModel: index from wrong model passed to mapToSource

This appears to be non-critical. Should this be resolved ?

Further logging:

beadon@lightfoot:~$ VirtualBox libGL error: No matching fbConfigs or visuals found libGL error: failed to load driver: swrast Qt WARNING: QSortFilterProxyModel: index from wrong model passed to mapToSource Qt WARNING: QSortFilterProxyModel: index from wrong model passed to mapToSource Qt WARNING: QSortFilterProxyModel: index from wrong model passed to mapToSource Qt WARNING: QSortFilterProxyModel: index from wrong model passed to mapToSource Qt WARNING: QSortFilterProxyModel: index from wrong model passed to mapToSource Qt WARNING: QSortFilterProxyModel: index from wrong model passed to mapToSource Qt WARNING: QSortFilterProxyModel: index from wrong model passed to mapToSource Qt WARNING: QSortFilterProxyModel: index from wrong model passed to mapToSource Qt WARNING: QSortFilterProxyModel: index from wrong model passed to mapToSource Qt WARNING: QSortFilterProxyModel: index from wrong model passed to mapToSource Qt WARNING: QSortFilterProxyModel: index from wrong model passed to mapToSource Qt WARNING: QSortFilterProxyModel: index from wrong model passed to mapToSource Qt WARNING: QSortFilterProxyModel: index from wrong model passed to mapToSource Qt WARNING: QSortFilterProxyModel: index from wrong model passed to mapToSource Qt WARNING: QSortFilterProxyModel: index from wrong model passed to mapToSource
