Locked out of VM

Description
When I have to lock my host machine my VM also will lock. When I come back and log into my host machine I cannot login to my VM. The keyboard does now work in the VM as well as the mouse. I VM stays on the locked screen and cannot get to the login part. I have to hard shutdown my VM and then I everything works fine until I lock my host again.
