Wrong System Time in OS/2 Guest

There is a problem with the "Guest Additions TimeSync Service" for OS/2 when using the long format for the TZ environment variable on the guest like

TZ=MET-1DST,3,-1,0,7200,10,-1,0,10800,3600

The problem seems to be an issue in the underlying libc, see the replies from user LewisR in the same thread and especially ​here and ​there.

A workaround is to start vboxservice.exe with the "Guest Additions TimeSync Service" disabled.

Probably the Guest Additons for OS/2 should be liked against a fixed version of libc once it gets available.
