VBox6.1.18: Unable to Paste large clipboard data between Host and Guest

Hi, I have a wierd problem that if clipboard contains some large content(atleast 515 characters in my case) then it does not actually paste data in either direction.

Machine setting: has already enabled in bidirectional and I am able to copy paste content with length(less than 500 characters)

Note:

1. Most important is problem does not exist when I downgrade back to 6.0.24 version(i.e. I am able to copy paste in bidirection as large as I want)

But if again upgraded to 6.1.18, problem is back(i.e. not able to copy paste after ~513 characters)

2. I am running Windows10 build edition 1803 on my lenovo laptop T480

VM is Lubuntu (running in NAT mode)

Please check this issue and let me know the resoluton asap.

Do you have up-to-date guest additions installed in your guest? You didn't provide the log file as the bug submissions guidelines suggest.

Seems guest addition version is older as vbox is on 6.1.x

ls /opt/VBoxGuestAdditions-6.0.8/
bin  init  installer  lib  LICENSE  other  routines.sh  sbin  src  uninstall.sh

Also, I am not sure how to update the Guest Addition as going to Device>Insert Guest addition is giving me following error:

Unable to insert the virtual optical disk C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox\VBoxGuestAdditions.iso into the machine Lubuntu.


Could not mount the media/drive 'C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox\VBoxGuestAdditions.iso' (VERR_PDM_MEDIA_LOCKED).

Thanks @janitor: Upgrading GA version works for me.
