Error occurs when attempting to delete a virtualbox nic if it is disabled in the operating system

Description
Not particularly a huge issue, but I have found that, when one attempts to delete a virtualbox virtual network adapter from within virtualbox and the virtual nic has been disabled in the actual operating system, you get this error:
However, as you may have guessed, if I re-enable the virtual network adapter in the operating system and try to delete the nic in virtualbox, it works.
