Description
I recently changed my username on my macOS host, and noticed this screen when starting VBox:
I then opened Preferences, and found the "Default Machine Folder" option, then changed the path to my new location, shown here:
However, after confirming this multiple times, quitting and opening VirtualBox back up, completely reinstalling, and rebooting, VirtualBox seems to not take the Default Machine Folder into account at all.
As a temporary workaround, I've remade my old home folder under my permissions and copied the VirtualBox VMs folder there. I'm not sure if this is only a macOS issue or not, but for those that don't have the know-how to work around this, it can completely break VBox for them.
