Hi,
I know there are emany posts on this topic and i have gone through almost all of them but my issue still persists.
I am unable to create a host-only network on my Virtual Box. Many of the posts suggested to reinstall the Virtual Box and I did perform the following steps: . 1) Uninstalled Virtual Box 6.1.4 2) Uninstalled norton AV on my machine (Windows 10 - 16GB RAM) 3) Disabled Windows Defender (Both AV & Forewall) 4) Rebooted the machine many a times. 5) Reinsalled Virtual Box (Run as administrator)
The problem still persists
Failed to create a host network interface.
Querying NetCfgInstanceId failed (0x00000002).
Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005) Component: HostNetworkInterfaceWrap Interface: IHostNetworkInterface {455f8c45-44a0-a470-ba20-27890b96dba9}
I also tried to download to a lower version (5.2.34) but to no avail.
