Critical error on boot of KISS linux - enters Guru meditation

Description

I've installed KISS linux to a VDI using an Arch Linux iso. Whenever i attempt to boot from the VDI it immediately enters Guru meditation - before even entering GRUB. I've attached VBox.log.
