Hello,
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Linux 16LTS.

Hello,
If you start the virtual machine with the green arrow, the error described above appears. If I boot up the virtual machine in Headless mode and after the preview window appears in the virtual box image, I can already press the green arrow, which works well.

- Please read really carefully the following FAQ: Diagnosing VirtualBox Hardening Issues for some generic guidelines/ideas. Those are guidelines, you have to use your judgement as to which program might be responsible...
So, which steps did you take based on that linked FAQ?
- If you still have a problem after reading through the whole thing, please head to the forums, and open a new thread. Please be sure to mention that you came from the bug tracker and include the ticket number.

But, just very quickly, it turns out that you do have a hardening problem indeed:
I would start by completely uninstalling the following, or adding an exception to its "do-not-scan list", for all-things VirtualBox:
