Description

Hi, after Update to Virtualbox 6.0.14 witch Extensions, my Guest Windows 7 Aero don't working, the Startmenu and Taskbar are blur, I can't see the items. The same in two different W7-guests. Guest-Tolls are installed v.6.0.14 with 3d-experimental driver. If I switch to VBoxVGA, all functioning perfect. My Host is Ubuntu 18.04. With Virtualbox v.6.0.12 were all W7-guests OK.

Please help Best regards Peter

Is this still reproducible with the latest test build 6.0.x revision 135060 from https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Testbuilds ?

With the new v.6.1.0 r135406 (Qt5.13.2) and Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-6.1.0.vbox-extpack I have the same error in two different Windows 7 VMs. Settings VboxSVGA, 3D and I have blurred Aero Taskbar and startmenu. Can anybody test Windows 7 with 3D Aero?

It is a known problem. However it is unlikely that it will be fixed in near future.

Actually the problem with Windows 7 Aero should be fixed in the latest 6.0.x revision 135471 build from https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Testbuilds
