Catalina host with Win 10 VM crashes

I updated to Mac OS Catalina today and when I run Virtualbox 6.0.12 with a Windows 10 VM guest, it crashes every time. If I switch from the VB screen on my MAC to the the Mac OS screen, the VM crashes. If I reopen Virtualbox, it says "aborted" for the Win 10 VM. This happens every time.

Same here. The machines seem to work fine UNTILL you click out of their window and then hard crash.

Take a look at the ​VirtualBox on Mac OS X Hosts section of the forums, and specifically ​VirtualBox crashes after upgrading to macOS Catalina. In there, there are two "workarounds":

The latest release VirtualBox 6.0.12 and 10.15 don't play nice. You can either get the latest test build (after disabling SIP) which addresses the issue, or wait until 6.0.14 gets released on 2019-10-15.

Another thing to try is to enter the command:

VBoxManage setextradata global GUI/HidLedsSync 0

Since this is the first major ticket for the newly released 10.15, I'm going to tie the thread and the ticket.

I used the suggested work around to run "VBoxManage setextradata global GUI/HidLedsSync 0" fromn terminal and it now seems to work fine.

I have checked and the release for 6.0.14 is done but can not find the OSX version yet. Is that delivered in a later stage?

Installed 6.0.14 and it works again!!!! Thank you.
