Description
Hello,
I set the screenshot folder as "/home/olivier/VirtualBox VMs/WindowsXP/Snapshots". This setting was made with the menu "Machine > Settings > General > Advanced > Snapshot folder".
However, VirtualBox does not take this setting into account. When I hit "Host+E", the save dialog insists on proposing "/home/olivier/VirtualBox VMs/WindowsXP". I must then change the proposed folder to the folder I really want.
Could you please take the folder choice into account correctly?
Also, and this point is a wish, I would like a shortcut for "immediate screenshot with no dialog box" (but into the right directory!).
Olivier (VirtualBox 5.2.22-dfsg-2 on Debian Linux)

We don't have the feature to set a standard location for guest-screenshots (HOST+E) like we do for the default snapshot location with:
"Machine > Settings > General > Advanced > Snapshot folder"
it is a legitimate request for enhancement to provide the same as
"Machine > Settings > General > Advanced > Screenshot folder"
and take that setting into account for the Screenshot dialog window.

Replying to OCLC:
You are confusing Snapshots (for which you set the directory) with Screenshots. Two completely different concepts. You cannot set the directory for Screenshots, it defaults to the VM's directory.
