Description
I'm running v6.0.10 on Windows 7 and have found that Guest Additions v6.0.10 causes a lockup of the guest while attempting to access a shared folder. I rolled back to Guest Additions v6.0.8 on the VirtualBox v6.0.10 and all works well.
When locked up, I must crash out of the guest to return to operation.

I had the same problem. Struggled for a while though to find the location of the guest editions iso. Eventually found it, installed it and problem solved.
Download VBoxGuestAdditions_6.0.8.iso from https://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/6.0.8/
Mount in VM.
Install.
Reboot.
Delete old shared folder
Remap shared folder on host.
Problem solved

@Rodger W
In the comment above yours, I mentioned that this ticket is a duplicate of #18766, which means that you shouldn't be commenting here, but in #18766.
And if you visit #18766, you'll see that the issue has been addressed in the latest test builds, there is absolutely no need for your "workaround", which involves downgrading to 6.0.8. We know that the problem didn't exist in 6.0.8 or previous versions, it's a 6.0.10 issue...

Had the same issue with a Windows 10 Pro 1809 guest on OEL7 using both VirtualBox-6.0-6.0.10 and VirtualBox-6.0-6.0.11_132407_el7-1.
Extracted the additions iso from VirtualBox-6.0-6.0.8_130520_el7-1 and shared folders started working again.
