Description
The Windows 8.1 Pro host freezes and reboots at random times with the Windows Server 2003 guest I had. I'm not sure whether this is related to VirtualBox or not. I have OpenShell/ClassicShell installed on the host computer and I don't know whether that's relevant. I without thinking deleted the virtual machine. I'll be creating a new virtual machine with the same setup and uploading the logs.

I looked in the windows event viewer and I got a bugcheck/error "0x00000139" which is "KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE"

The bug tracker is not the place for discussions... It's usually better and faster, if issues get first addressed in the VirtualBox forums, a lot more eyes there. More than 95% of the issues are resolved in the forums, which keeps the developers focusing on the bug fixes and enhancements, and there is no need for another ticket to keep track of. For example, yours is most probably not a bug and someone from the developers has to deal with it and close it as "Invalid".
Plus a discussion and analysis on the bug tracker is going to help you, me, and potentially a future drive-by user or two. Not so in the forums, many more tend to benefit...
So, if you can, please open a new thread in the VirtualBox on Windows Hosts section of the forums. Please be sure to mention that you came from the bug tracker and include the ticket number.
I forgot to mention that during the freeze there is nothing except a shade of blue and weird artifacts (white dots) on the screen. I have encountered this about three times over the past few weeks and VirtualBox has been running when it happens.
