Seamless mode does not work

Description
Env. Host: Ubuntu 18.04 with Gnome on X11 Guest: Windows 10 Tried both 'auto-resize guest display' on and off.
Steps:
- Create Windows 10 image with installed guest addons
- Start in normal mode, then switch to seamless
Expected: Seamless mode allowing to view windows and start taskbar.
Actual: No windows shown, no start taskbar shown, only Host+L allows to restore normal mode.

I have the same problem. Linux host and my windows guests do not go into seamless mode since I upgraded to windows 10 1903. When I switch to seamless mode it is the same as full screen mode. the seamless mode does not work...any help would be appreciated.
