VERR_NOT_SUPPORTED for a valid ISO image

Both VirtualBox 6.0 and 5.2.22 don't accept this ISO image:

The error is:

Failed to open the disk image file /tmp/tde-ubuntu-14.04-desktop-latest-amd64.iso.

Could not get the storage format of the medium '/tmp/tde-ubuntu-14.04-desktop-latest-amd64.iso' (VERR_NOT_SUPPORTED).

Did you try comparing the checksum? From:

I did download the ISO, the checksum matched, but VirtualBox (6.0.1 r128018) came up with the same error as the OP. I was able to mount the ISO on my OSX 10.11.6 host with no problems...

The problem is that the file size is not a multiple of 2048.

Padding it with

printf '%1536s' ' ' >> tde-ubuntu-14.04-desktop-latest-amd64.iso

makes VBox happier about that image.
