See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
Please do NOT open ticket for the Beta. This was clearly stated (in bold actually) in the release notes/announcement, you should read them more carefully. You can either go to the Beta forums or on the #vbox channel on IRC.
To answer your question, this is not VirtualBox that's creating the "
System Volume Information
", that's Windows that does it for any volume it mounts as Read/Write. Just try to put a USB stick on a Windows computer, real or virtual; you'll see that folder. The same happens when you insert a USB stick on an OSX computer; it creates a "
.DS_Store
" file, and a ".fseventsd
", a ".Spotlight-V100
" and a ".Trashes
" folders. That's the way things are in RealLife™.This ticket should be closed as [Invalid].
