#18103 new enhancement
User-manual amendment regarding DHCP IP / NAT networking

Description
There should be a _stern_ warning in the dhcpserver section not to use the gateway IP for the dhcp server! It kinda-sorta works, but completely messes up port forwarding of "NAT Network".
What would be even better is an error message, stating that IP so and so is already in use by the gateway + a suggestion to use something else, e.g. "192.168.15.3" (not .1 and .2).

According to the OP, after a discussion in the forums, this is similar to #13753, where 'vushakov' (comment 3) describes the situation. I believe that the current ticket should be marked as an "enhancement to the manual".
As I mentioned in the forums discussion, "that clarification *should* be in the manual, not in some 4-year old, closed as Invalid, ticket".
In addition there should be a section of reserved IPs that may be used when auto-creating networks / dhcp servers / proxies ... whatever else.
