Description
I have tree different locations/workplaces with different monitor setup using dockingstations. on two of the locations virtualbox won't start so it is visible. I can see it virtualbox is active in the background and first thought is that it didn't double click and endend up starting it several times in the background. However i found out can disconnect the dockingstation and virtualbox startup/is visible on my screen. Now i can connect the dockingstation again and work with virtualbox. Anyway to avoid this behavior?

And please, provide more information about the set-up and a log file from a virtual machine. Lots of information is collected in the log file which can help with debugging.
If that is a Linux/GNOME host set-up, please be sure this is not a GNOME bug. I know from experience that Linux/GNOME can get confused about what is connected when switching monitor set-up and try to place windows (not just VirtualBox, also e.g. GNOME Terminal) on monitors which are not physically present.
