Description
first packet for ping for static IP is always "Destination host unreachable" when you re-start your windows 10 machine
Scenario to reproduce the issue.
- reboot the laptop/system
- try to ping any static IP 192.168..
- you will see "destination host unreachable" for the 1st packet
- result:"destination host unreachable" for first ICMP packet
Manual solution:
- reboot the machine
- go to control panel/network and sharing center
- then go to change adapter settings
- disable "virtualBox Host-Only Network"
- enable "virtualBox Host-Only Network"
- Now ping any static IP
- results: No error. Works great
