Screen freezes above 1439p

Description
Ubuntu guest, Windows 8 host, 2560x1440 screen, I have had screen freezing when going into full-screen mode until leaving leaving full-screen mode. So I've done some tests with xrandr. Turns out if I set the resolution up to 2560x1438, everything works as expected, but 2560x1439 and up and the screen freezes until resolution is lowered again.
Tried many different configuration including 3d acceleration with same 1439 landmark. Size Hint doesn't help.
You can see in the log file there is a IFrameBufferPrivate::performResize when i set resolution to 1438 but nothing is logged when i set to 1439 and up.
