Facing NS_ERROR_FAILURE on starting all virtual machines

Description
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Ubuntu.
The virtual machine 'Ubuntu' has terminated unexpectedly during startup with exit code 1 (0x1).
Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005) Component: MachineWrap Interface: IMachine {85cd948e-a71f-4289-281e-0ca7ad48cd89}
Host OS: 10.13.1 MacOS High Sierra
I couldn't find any related log file anywhere. Please help. This is blocking me. Tried reinstall multiple times

May I suggest something? It's usually better and faster, if issues get first addressed in the VirtualBox forums. More than 95% of the issues are resolved over there, which keeps the developers focusing on the bug fixes and enhancements, and there is no need for another ticket to keep track of.
