Description
Restarting into another kernel is faster with kexec. There's a crash when I try to reboot into another kernel with kexec. The problem (says the screenshot) is because VirtualBox.
The commands I issued were:
diwou@diwou-VirtualBox:~$ sudo kexec -l /boot/vmlinuz-uname -r
--reuse-cmdline
[sudo] password for diwou:
diwou@diwou-VirtualBox:~$ sudo systemctl kexec
Then I can see a crash on the GUI screen...
This bug was reported 5 years ago, I read it was marked as obsolete, but I think it's not fixed.
If it was already previously reported, why not post a comment to the actual ticket (number?) instead of creating a duplicate?
