Hello,
Host: openSUSE 10.3 - ext3 file system accessed though shared folders
Guest: Windows XP - SP 3
VirtualBox: 1.6.2
I have a strange problem. I am using shared folders and not all of the existing directories are shown - neither with explorer nor in the command prompt, roughly 1/3 of the directories are missing. In case I rename one of the not shown directories under Linux, all show up.

There was a fix for such a problem in 1.6.4. Please could you upgrade and check if that helps? Please update the guest additions to 1.6.4 as well.

I have the same problem under Vista in Virtual Box 1.6.0. Host: Vista Ultimate Guest: Windows XP SP3 VirtualBox: 1.6.0
I have my Vista User's Folder shared with the XP guest. I have about 80 Subfolders in this folder, and the folders starting with F to the folders starting with P are missing, so about 16 folders are missing.
