Description
Hello.
Currently, all my VMs that are on Virtualbox have the sound who is crackling a lot and is a bit distorted.
I have a Windows 98, XP and 7 x64 VMS. And all of them has the same issue.
My host is a Windows 10 1709 x64 computer.

This is definitely a duplicate of at least 5 tickets, I simply don't know which one I should set it as a duplicate of, most probably #15925.
Also, consider changing your favorite internet search engine. There should be plenty of results about this, but the search engine you're using now, does not seem to return any results for some reason.
