Description
If I activate 3D support, the Desktop turns black or is not usable at all, that is I see the Icons, but nothing happens.
This issue persisted for some time now and I had hoped with the latest release which also fixed a 3D issue for GDM, this would be solved now. Obviously it is not.

With nothing happens, I mean that I cannot interact with the desktop. Clicking or typing has not effect, at all.

Afraid that this is not likely to change in the foreseeable future, due to lack of developer time to work on Linux guest 3D. The best chance here is user contributions, and the best chance to get that is for interested users like you to look for someone with the skills and interest to fix it.
