Virtualbox 5.2.1: Inability to install extension pack (either .vbox-extpack or via.iso)
At the outset, I have to confess to being altogether new to VMs and Virtualbox. After having read the manual, I installed v 5.2. T tried, unsuccesfully, to install the extensionpack. When the .vbox-extpack failed, I noticed the announcement regarding Linus guest kernels. Altough I have not yet installed any guest OS - will install Win 10 64-bit - I tried the .iso offered. The results of both attempts are recorded in a .txt file I created and is attached hereto.the log file (also attached) identifies my system as AMD, while it is, in fact, an Intel Core i5-3330CPU 3.00GHz (see attached screenshot). Your help would be greatly appreciated. (I'm altogether in the dark as to whether the issue is of my doing or is caused by the software)

2017-10-23: Please ignore and close this ticket. I went search engine hunting and tried out various options, eventually sorting the problem out. It hadn't been clear to me, for example, that the extensionpack ought only to be installed once the gust OS had been installed. Once I had added the Win10 virtual DVD as an optical drive and installled it, I did the same with the extension iso and it ran smoothly, with no problems at all.My apologies for any time wasted on this ticket.
