Crackling audio on Windows 10 guest Mac host
MacOS 10.12.6
Windows 10 professional, latest
Audio settings started on the default CoreAudio and Intel HD Audio, and I experienced crackling audio. After seeing some similar reports that were solved by using the ICH AC97 driver, I switched to that and installed the drivers in the guest, but that didn't help.
I tried the latest Test Build as of last night as well, which didn't solve the issue (was also confused since the test build seems to be 5.1.25 and release builds 5.1.26)
Will attach logs

Same crackling audio problems with MacOS 10.9.5 hosting both Win7 and WinXP guests - as well as with Win7 hosting WinXP guest after upgrading to 5.1.24 or 5.1.26. Had to downgrade back to 5.1.22.
Update 9/25/17: Now, still have same audio problems after upgrading to 5.1.28 - again, downgraded back to 5.1.22.
Update 10/22/2017: Upgraded to 5.1.30 - still have same crackling audio problems - then Upgraded to 5.2.0 and the crackling audio no longer happens with MacOS 10.9.5 hosting both Win7 and WinXP guests - also stopped happening with Win7 hosting WinXP guest. 5.2.0 appears to have solved my problems. Also, after the upgrade to 5.2.0 - I now have working Master Volume controls on the taskbar in both of my WinXP guests. A long awaited fix! (see Ticket # 15104)
