Ubuntu Server Shuts down Over night

Description
My ubuntu server that I am testing before going live shut down over night. I am new to Unix products and the server continues to shutdown over night. I want it to run 24/hr a day.Until I do do schedule reboots can anyone help. Its like the server idles and then it turns off.

May I suggest something? It's usually better and faster, if problems like this one (configuration, question) get first addressed in the forums (https://forums.virtualbox.org/). More than 95% of the issues are resolved over there, which keeps the developers focusing on the bug fixes and enhancements, and there is no need for another ticket to keep track of.
So, if you can, please open a new thread in the Linux Guests section of the forums. Be sure to say that you came from the bugtracker and include the ticket #.

Additional information I cannot ping the server after a idle time of 4 few hours of just running without my interactions.
