Description
When VirtualBox prompts me that there is a new update available, the link that it gives me to click on is always "http://". Since the downloads are available over HTTPS, it would be good to use the "https://" URLs everywhere to avoid an untrusted network spoofing the download links.

Sorry, the downloads are not available on https. The download server is http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox. There is no proper https support on this server yet. We are working on a solution. For the time being, please check the sha256 file hash with the one from SHA256SUMS which can be found at https://www.virtualbox.org/download/hashes/VERSION.
