Description
VirtualBox latest versions (Ubuntu 16.04 ("Xenial") AMD64 virtualbox-5.1_5.1.20-114628-Ubuntu-xenial_amd64.deb build, and latest test build 5.1.x revision 114683) do not detect 64-bit host on Linux Mint 18.1 64-bit with Intel i3 64-bit machine.

Please attach a VBox.log file of a VM session. Could be also a dummy session (no hard disk attached). This will most likely show the reason why 64-bit is not available.
