#16228 new defect

VM crashes with "Aborted" status when host machine connects to bluetooth device

Description

Hello,

I'm working on an Ubuntu 14.04 VM and I kind of noticed a very strange issue. Whenever my JBL bluetooth speaker connects/disconnects to host (Mac OS X El Capitan), my linux VM just crashes unexpectedly with "Aborted" status (screenshot included) even though I am not using this speaker as an audio device in my VM. The issue is resolved when either the audio device is disabled or changed in the VM settings.

Below are the current settings used on both my host and guest machines in case it could help recreate:

Mac OS X El Capitan Host OS / VirtualBox 5.1.2 / Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Guest OS / Host Audio Driver: Core Audio / Audio Controller: ICH AC97 / JBL Clip2 Bluetooth speaker.

The issue only occurs during connection establishment or while disconnecting the speaker.
