VirtualBox Version 5.1.8 r111374 (Qt5.6.1) does not remember screen size

Description
On Linux amd64 Mint 13 Maya / (equivalent to) Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin as Host System, running a Debian x86-32bit Wheezy in windowed mode as Guest System, VirtualBox forgets about the screen size between reboots forcing me to stretch the window or running in full-screen mode.

Please attach a log file from a run of the machine in which the size was not correctly restored (and if possible mention the size you expected it to be restored to) and the configuration file for the virtual machine taken before you ran it.
