Guest desktop shows fully instead of host desktop in seamless mode (Windows 10 guest on MacOS ElCapitan host)

Hello
When running seamless mode for a Windows 10 64bits guest on a MacOS host, the guest desktop covers the entire MacOS host desktop. It is very similar to full screen with only the MacOS dock showing.
With this running, whenever I click any taskbar icon on the guest taskbar, the taskbar disappears for a couple of seconds and reappears, it looks very dodgy.

The problem still persists... My host: Win7 64bit, Guests: Win10 32bit and Win10 64bit, Virtualbox Version: 5.1.20
Seamless mode still not working. This issue now exists since almost 2 years! See also https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/14493 and https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/15092
Will this issue ever be fixed? It makes using the current Windows Version as guest almost useless - so not really unimportant! :(
