Highlighting text with the mouse is broken after installing VBoxGuestAdditions 5.0.18 and higher

Description
After installing VBoxGuestAdditions 5.0.18, when attempting to highlight text with the mouse in the client area of any window, the mouse position is wrong. This defect persists in VBoxGuestAdditions 5.0.20 as well.
When trying to drag-select text in the client area of any window (terminal window, browser window, text editor, etc.), the highlighting occurs at a position that appears to be one row up and one or two characters to the left of where the mouse pointer is when the mouse button is held down.
I had to downgrade back to VBoxGuestAdditions 5.0.16 to restore normal behavior.
