Description
I was surprised not being able to connect any USB devices to my guest until I found out that the udev rule to create the devices was missing on my ubuntu 15.10 install, using virtualbox 5.0.14 packages.
I (re)created the udev rule based on what I could find on the net and had access to my USB devices again.

Does this still occur if you remove the package with the "purge" option and re-install it?
