No chance to debug this problem without a core dump. If you can provide such a core dump (preferrably against VBox 5.0.12), feel free to contact me via frank _dot_ mehnert _at_ oracle _dot_ com. I cannot provide you a server where you can upload the file so hopefully the compressed core dump can be included in the mail or you find a server and provide me the URL for downloading, sorry. Also, please don't forget to provide the corresponding VBox.log file.

The issue does also appear on VirtualBox 5.0.12 but I have found out something about it: It appears only on speficic storage settings. For example at these settings it crashes: SATA controller with 3 ports, at port 0 the hard disk, at port 1 an empty optical drive and at port 2 the VBoxGuestAdditions.iso. Now doing the reproduction steps from the startpost on an installed and fully booted Windows 10 guest does cause the crash. Removing the VBoxGuestAdditions.iso from SATA port 2 or removing the optical drive on SATA port 1 does not cause the crash. Maybe you are able to reproduce the crash with this information.

The latest 5.0 test builds have a fix for this problem. Would be nice if you could confirm the fix. Thank you!

If a fix got committed feel free to mark this issue as fixed. I will test this later and report back if something is still wrong.
