Hello
since OS X 10.11 the USB support ist not correct. i have a license dongle from KNX. it is half license stick and half USB Stick. it will not detect under the guest system Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 Correct.
I have installe Vb 5.1 on an windows 10 host and there it is working.
so something must be wrong between OS X 10.11 and vb5.x, the problem was in the past sometime also but you fix it.

thanks, yes the new version works.
5.0.13 r105046 for OS X works now with the license stick

The latest VBox 5.0.13 Mac OS X test build (>= 105008) contains some USB fixes for El Capitan. Could you check if this build fixes your problems?
