VirtualBox 4.3.30 not prompting for update to 5 when checking for updates

Description
When checking for updates in VirtualBox 4.3.30 it says "You're already running the latest version of VirtualBox." But obviously 5.x has been out for a while and 5.0.8 is already out. What gives? Has the update feed changed?

It should be noted that this is also the case for Windows hosts - I am on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. I had Virtualbox 4.3.x, and like JessePeterson, I was never notified about 5.0 despite it being out for months until I checked the Virtualbox website myself. I currently have 5.0.6, and I am still not being notified about 5.0.8 being released.
As you have discovered, it seems like the service-side of the updater is not functioning properly, so hopefully it's just a matter of fixing that.

Fixed. For 'stable', the current version is now 4.3.32. For 'all / with betas', the current version is 5.0.8. The 'stable' channel will switch to 5.0.x soon.
Having installed version 5.0.0 and 5.0.6 it looks like they, too, simply report back that they are up to date. Perhaps the update server is not functioning correctly for OS X hosts? Playing around a bit with the https://update.virtualbox.org/query.php I keep getting the return value "UPTODATE" no matter how old a version I give it for the DARWIN_64BIT_GENERIC platform.
