Ubuntu guest VM stops responding on switching from seamless mode to other modes

Description

Hi,

I have installed an Ubuntu 15.04 (64 bit) VM on Windows 7 (64 bit) using virtualbox 5.0.0 r101573. The VM starts in seamless mode and that's the only mode it seems to work in. If I try to switch to Full-screen Mode or Scaled Mode, the VM window minimizes. VirtualBox Manager shows the status of VM as running but I can't access it. I have to Power Off the VM and start it again in order to use it. This situation arose as a result of trying to solve a related problem reported (by me):

I have attached the logs.

Hello,
Some clarification is required.

First of all, I suppose in defect header and description under *seamless mode* you mean *normal mode*? Logs definitely shows you never was in *seamless mode* even close. So the issue happens for you when you are switching from normal (windowed) mode into any other mode? Am I correct?

If so, then what do you mean under "the VM window minimizes"? It just disappears at all or minimizes into task-bar?

Also would be nice if you test our 5.0.2 version (r102096) with corresponding guest additions.
Thanks in advance!
