#14073 new enhancement

vbox doesn't know how to use my kernel signature to sign its modules

Description

I have signed modules on my kernel. I have the sources and the private key in /usr/src/linux-xxx (which are found by dkms when the modules are built) Could you improve the module build so that it signs your modules with signing_key.* when they are built with /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup ?

I understand it will not work for a binary only kernel that I didn't build, but if I build my own kernels and I have the signing key, it should work.

Thanks.

The point is that a virus could provide a self-signed binary as well...
