Guest VM hangs if "Exit full screen" is clicked while saving state

Description
Steps to reproduce:
- Have a running Windows guest (I couldn't reproduce it with Linux)
- Press Close -> choose to save state
- While saving state mini-window is up, press "Exit full screen"
Result is that guest VM is stuck in "Saving" state indefinitely and with unresponsive GUI, the only way I could abort it is kill -9, after which it goes to "Aborted" state. I can alt-tab out of VM to my host WM (openbox on ArchLinux).
