virtualbox crash when i cancel any function in virtualbox : cancel browse for import, cancel new virtual computer, cancel edit vm... not only with export/import.

Regards.

Please, describe your case in more detail. Has it happened just after fresh update/install of Virtualbox? Did you try to reboot your machine? Did you check access rights for VirtualBox's files?

Please run the next commands in console(with admin rights):

sc query vboxdrv

if vboxdrv is in "stopped" state you try changing this state by running

sc start vboxdrv

Vboxdrv should be in "running" state.

Hello.

I don't know when the issue happened... I don't edit vm often. I discover it because i attempt to import ova...

Last week i have reset factory default my computer. Install last version from site. I have the same issue.

Access Right are ok : the vm runs, are modified... without problem.

service is started.

Regards.

could you upload your OVA package somewhere? I will check it on my Windows machine.

Hello.

I don't uderstand why you want OVA... When i import OVA : it's work properly.

The issue appear when i begin the import : if i don't select ova/ovf, and click cancel : virtualbox crash. Same Thing, when i edit vm property : if i don't change any property and click cancel, virtualbox crash.

Regards.

If I understand you correctly then you just open a dialog and press Cancel without changing anything and VirtualBox crashes. For instance, you open the VM settings and press Cancel and it crashes. Or you open the OVF/OVA import dialog, don't change anything (also don't select any file to import) but press Cancel and VirtualBox crashes.

Is that correct? We never saw a similar problem here. Do you have some custom window decoration installed?

Exactly.

No customing on windows : just a wallpaper.

I had the same behaviour on my previous Windows 8.1...

Regards.
