I found this out after struggling with my Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter no longer being detected in Windows 8. It didn't matter which machine I used - my Surface or my Laptop. I came across an article that suggested I remove VirtualBox, and voila - "Connect to a wireless display" came back. I want to keep using VirtualBox, but I also need WiDi for teaching. Hey Oracle, would you fix this, or suggest a setting I can disable so I can have my wireless display while using your software, please?
This forum thread details a work-around (https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=65091), but it'd be great if this issue could be permanently fixed (which it might be in v5.0 of VirtualBox - can anyone confirm?).
