Is anybody actually trying to fix this??????

Failed to create the VirtualBox COM object.

The application will now terminate.

Callee RC: E_INVALIDARG (0x80070057)

Failed to open a session for the virtual machine slk.

The virtual machine 'slk' has terminated unexpectedly during startup with exit code 1 (0x1). More details may be available in 'C:\Users\rjs7\VirtualBox VMs\slk\Logs\VBoxStartup.log'.

Does not happen here. Does there any VBoxSVC.log file exist in your /Users/USERNAME/.VirtualBox directory? If so, could you attach it as well?

Also, which kind of anti-virus and anti-malware applications do you have installed? AFAICS you are running Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. What else?

I see the same issue in VB 4.3.20 r96977 with OpenSUSE Linux VM. I'm crating it but I cant start it.

There are no error logs when I'm opening ShowLog in menu. My AV is TrendMicro.

I have the suspicion that PowerBroker is the application which prevents VirtualBox from starting.

Could you provide an application dump? It seems that the VM is crashing during startup. Could you check this page to setup your host to generate application dumps?
