Description
After host computer (Linux Mint 17 64b KDE) wake up from Suspend to RAM, VirtualBox guest is very, very slow and won't boot guest OS at all. Windows XP can be ran after turning off VT-x/AMD-V.
Sulution is restart PC or reinstall VirtualBox which leads me to that problem is likely in kernel module loading.

That sounds more like a bug in your BIOS. Please attach a VBox.log file for such a VM session. And re-installing is probably not necessary, I assume that /etc/init.d/vboxdrv restart is sufficient.
