Description
VirtualBox running on a Windows 7 host (Mint 17 guest) dies when I undock the laptop. Before that happens, the guest would be running on the external monitor, either full screen or not, doesn't matter.
At the moment of undocking, the guest could either be in a window on the external monitor or in a window moved to the laptop screen, or minimized, that doesn't matter either.
I'll attach a screen shot of the error message.

This happens (sometimes) to me as well. Lenovo W540, windows 7. Linux Guest. About halb of dock/undock operations make virtualbox crashing. Sometimes it just works as expected. How can I help fixing this. Seems like a long existing bug. I am on 5.1.6 now. Saw this on older 5.x builds as well.
It's doing similar on my Windows 64-bit Host with a Windows 64-bit Guest Image. When I undock my laptop, the image aborts. Virtual Box Guest Additions 4.3.12 r93733
Edit: I don't know how the vbox-error.png file became attached to my comment, I was trying to attach my own VirtualBox log to this comment.
