Windows 8.1 guest - black screen

On host with Windows 7 64bit and Intel 4600 HD video, guest with windows 8.1 32bit has black screen after enabling 3d support.

3d Support enabled last video driver from intel is installed

In log is see that GL_Vendor is recognised as Microsoft GDI Generic

I ran into this issue as well. VirtualBox was reverting to the Microsoft GDI Generic OpenGL renderer when using the Intel video driver on a Windows host. I tracked the issue down to the Intel driver being incorrectly signed. The signature on the file C:\Windows\System32\igdusc32.dll was not verifiable causing VirtualBox to reject the Intel driver. This is a hardening feature introduced in VirtualBox 4.3.14. Removing the digital signature from igdusc32.dll fixes the issue.

This bug appears in versions 4.3.14 through 4.3.18, the bug appears to be fixed in the just released 4.3.20. I suggest you give that version a try.

I have the same probleme in VirtualBox 3.4.20. Host: Win 7 64bit with Intel 4600 HD video drivers (last version) Guest: Windows 8.1 64bit. It's work fine without 3D support but i can only see black (or orange) screen if 3D is activated. In fact, Windows seems started but it's totally unusable: full black/orange screen and white rectangular area when passing mouse over buttons.
