Bridged Networking does not work in Windows 8

Description

Downloaded Virtualbox 4.3.14 to install on Windows 8.1. After installation it points to a beta version to install.

So I installed this build https://www.virtualbox.org/download/testcase/VirtualBox-4.3.15-95599-Win.exe

After installation, VM with bridged network does not work. With NAT it does, however I do need bridged networking. I found some references for other who tried to re-install the bridged network component but none of them seem to work.

The error I get is: "Failed to open/create the internal network 'HostInterfaceNetworking-Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller' (VERR_INTNET_FLT_IF_NOT_FOUND). Failed to attach the network LUN (VERR_INTNET_FLT_IF_NOT_FOUND)."

Checking in Windows Device Manager the "VirtualBox Host-Only Ethernet Adapter" is present, but the "VirtualBox Bridged Networking Driver Miniport" is missing.

I attached the logs from the virtual machines and installation logs.

Resolution: fixed

Please uninstall VirtualBox, reboot the host and install VirtualBox. Make sure that during the installation you didn't uncheck the corresponding checkbox in the installer dialog. Please reopen if still relevant.
