VirtualBox process hangs on shutdown of guest

Reported by: Hrvoje Owned by:

Description

Hi.

From 4.3.14 i have problem with my VM's. When is shutdown the guest, it seems that it cleanly shuts down, but GUI guest window is still present, and after few seconds, in titlle bar "(Not Responding)" appears. I then need to manually close guest window, and in GUI, state of the VM changes to "aborted".

Also, it would seem that guests with 3d enabled require now extra time to display main guest window (compared to 4.3.12).

I did look through the logs, and it seems that guest does shutdown, but guest window just keep hanging around, i guess.

This _does not_ happen if 3d acceleration is disabled (guest window not responding, and slower start).

My host is Windows 7, with NVIDIA, dribver version 337.88.

Again, with the same drivers and host, 4.3.12 works ok.

Notify me if you need additional logs or tests.

Regards,

H.

Hi.

It seems that latest build (4.3.20) does not suffer from this issue.

H.
